They are also ready for modernization (rebuild, security patches, compatibility with newer APIs) and easy expansion with new sources and integrations.

The components cover three areas: ingest and video processing (e.g., MediaArchiver), transport and communication (MediaTransporterServer/Updater), and audit/logging (CO Logger, MediaEventViewer). They integrate with the archive MAM system Viz One, typically process inputs as XML, and manage tasks via internal queues. Audit events are collected and made available through web interfaces. Modernization addresses runtime/dependency updates, compatibility with newer Viz One API, and deployment on a new OS, including hardening, monitoring, and log rotation.
